Set in 1942 and following the death of their mother, the sons of Eddie Kurnitz are forced to move from the Bronx to Yonkers to live with their strict grandmother and mentally challenged aunt while Eddie takes a traveling sales job in an attempt to pay of his deceased wife’s medical debt. Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers is a touching family drama with moments of comedy while the showcasing the sons struggle to adapt to their new lives.
